Effetre Avorio Nero Light Pastel Glass Rod

COE 104, compatible with our other COE 104 glass, length 13".

We received a shipment of this color in June of 2014. Avorio Nero means Ivory Black and is classified as an opaque/pastel color, however it is transparent with ivory streaks and more. We have tested this color time and time again to see the changes in the streaking being less or more. This batch of glass arrived in two differing tonalities -- half is a light tonality and the other half is a dark tonality. There are also some rods that fall in between the light and dark tonalities. Some of our customers who remember the Vetrofond color Streaky Brown may enjoy this similar color! 

The image comes from this lighter batch of Avorio Nero. The longer that you work the glass, the more opportunity there is for large ivory streaks. You can see the range that this glass offers from transparent with light wisps of ivory to a more translucent mix.
