Teaching exclusively online for Zurich Glass School we would like to present master lampworker Loren Stump the murrine king from the USA. Loren teaches murrini, paperweight components and insects for inclusion culminating in the elusive paperweight.

In this initial Loren 1 course master and material genius Loren Stump who teaches us the strictly kept secrets associated with what the collectors want! 'Simple' murrini and the first steppingstones to creating special components for paperweights.

Loren 1 consists of the following demos:

Session 1–Ladybirds

Session 2–Color mixing, overlay, ribbed overlay

Session 3–Murrine Flowers Session 4–Murrine Leaves

Session 5-cutting bar & nipping & pinching leaves & petals

Session 6–Pulling bar & petals & Ladybird on leaf

Class includes one complimentary one on one consultation with ZGS founder Dr Julie Anne Denton to help you with the tricky bits, whilst receiving personal help and encouragement with the projects. It is advisable to use this consultation as our participants find the them invaluable.

Visual technical handouts are also provided which help you remember the steps for all the demonstrations at a glance. Please remember, what we are creating is tricky and takes A LOT of practice, logic, patience, and an inquiring mind.

This e_course is a stand alone course which is complimented by Loren 2 and Loren 3 which are coming soon! Our Loren Stump 1 course will push your skill level and give you confidence in your ownabilities and empower you to own your creativity.

You can work through this course at your own pace. After purchase allow24 hours to be granted access to the Loren Stump 1: Secrets channel. You will have three month sun limited access to your channel from this point. Please be patient until you receive the email that grants you access to your channel, and the shared dropbox folder containing all the demo transcriptions to help you with each exercise, PDFs of demonstration steps plus photographs of what you should be aiming for.
