Size: Diameter 5-7mm, length 20", weight per rod .07 lb, approximately 12-15 rods per pound. There is a quarter pound minimum per color. All TAG rods are first quality.

Smoother than TAG's BlackJack, and much darker. You can pull it quite thin and still have a good, solid black stringer. Like most standard black boro glasses, Knight Rider is a dense black that likes an oxy environment, and can gray out a little with reduction. However, batches since 2012 have been more resistant to the graying that is inherent to blue-based blacks. In the photos here you can see it next to our dense smooth Whiteout, and the Mighty Moss. On the blown bubble, the Knight Rider went OVER the edges of the Mighty Moss, and completely masked the aventurine green, even though it was blown out fairly thin.

ATTENTION: Due to the weight and length of the rods you may receive .30 pound vs .25 pound (as an example) when ordering. This will cause the cost to rise and the amount you expect to pay for your glass may change.

If this is a problem, please let us know and we will “underweigh” your glass. This means instead of .25 pound you may receive .20 to .22 pound. Please be aware that it is almost impossible to pull exactly .25 pound. We will always try our best to get as close as possible to the weight that is ordered, but due to the factors stated, these weights may substantially increase the total cost of your order.
