622061 TAG Sea Slyme COE 33 Borosilicate Trautman Art Glass Rod

Sea Slyme! A new shade for an old favorite.  This is a very workable glass.  a milky blue-green, it fills part of the spectrum between the new Blue slyme and regular Slyme.  Like anything in the slyme family, finished work can range from opaque to translucent to transparent in the same piece from the same rod.  

The Sea Slyme has a milky strike you know and love but it's more teal than the original.  It can thin to transparent very easily, especially when you put it over clear or you can use it thicker for  more milky seafoam aqua green color.  

Reducing flame with the Sea Slyme: Like the rest of the slymes this glass is a little bit soft, meaning the COE is a little bit high, maybe a piont, point and a half.  this is the same as Slyme, Pink Slyme, and all the opaque candy colors, Pink Caddy, Wisteria and Kiwi.

Size: SeaDiameter 5-7mm, length 20", weight per rod .07 lb, approximately 12-15 rods per pound. There is a quarter pound minimum per color. All TAG rods are first quality.
ATTENTION: Due to the weight and length of the rods you may receive .30 pound vs .25 pound (as an example) when ordering. This will cause the cost to rise and the amount you expect to pay for your glass may change.

If this is a problem, please let us know and we will “underweigh” your glass. This means instead of .25 pound you may receive .20 to .22 pound. Please be aware that it is almost impossible to pull exactly .25 pound. We will always try our best to get as close as possible to the weight that is ordered, but due to the factors stated, these weights may substantially increase the total cost of your order.
